This is a cross-sectional descriptive study to measure the risk factors for protein energy malnutrition, this study is designed to cover (n=384 children), the study shows that the most affected children were those whose family income per month was less than 250 SDG, (18.5%), the prevalence of malnutrition increases among children where mothers are illiterate (13.4%), the study showed that boys are affected more (12.5%) than girls (8.5%) and children aged 6-12 months (most affected 7.7%).
