A parasitological study using concentration methods that included sedimentation (formol-ether) and flotation (sucrose) was applied to fecal samples of twenty-six (26) cats, including young and adult cats. The cats were stray cats roaming the study areas. Ten (10) different types of parasites were found infecting cats. Mixed infestations with more than one genus of helminth were also observed. The public health significance of the parasites and the need for their control were discussed.
