A utotransplantation of teeth is an old method of tooth replacement, but it is receiving renewed interest, as treatment today is founded on evidence- based, long-term research.Dental auto-transplantation or autogenous transplantation is defined as the movement of one tooth from one position to another, within the same person ( Hale ML.,Northway WM ).This could involve the transfer of impacted, embedded, or erupted teeth into extraction sites or into surgically prepared sockets (Natiella et al., 1970).
